Jenny + Don

Jenny and Don contacted me to shoot their Redondo Beach Enagement Session in September.  They wanted part of their Engagement session at the beach and at the Portofino Hotel in Kings Harbor Redondo Beach.  Although their ceremony would be at Waferer’s Chapel in Palos Verdes, we were given full access to Portofino’s grounds since they had scheduled the  reception  there.  Prior to the shoot, I worked with Jenny styling her outfits and we decided on a formal  and casual look.  I can not stress how important it is to spend the time in styling and preparing for a shoot you are investing in.  The time you put into planning and styling will make a world of difference in your photos.

Serving as a lovely backdrop, the Portofino’s living room  complimented Jenny’s white dress.   The view of the Harbor was breathtaking as boats crossed the Picture Windows.  Afterwards, we headed over to the marina and took a few shots before heading to the beach.  There Jenny and Don were able to relax  and have some fun in the sand as the sun set into the horizon.
