The Jauregui family had  been living in their new Los Angeles home for just a few weeks with their newborn baby, when they decided it was time for portraits.  It was a Saturday morning and I arrived at their home to find lovely luminous light in their bedroom.   Their bedroom was such a perfect location for a family portrait.    A beautiful linen tufted headboard was the focal point of the room with a white ruched duvet covering the bed.    The  2 windows streamed in enough bright light  to illuminate the room for  a baby and family home portrait session.

Amelia, just 6 weeks old, was extremely alert for her age.  Her unique hair  takes after her Mother!  Ivette  had the same  punk rock hair like baby Emelia when she was a baby.  I love it when babies are like mini copies of their parents!  It’s so beautiful to see a parent look at their baby and see  a reflection of how they once were.
